Move over Fox-It PDF viewer.... you've just been surpassed, on my machine at least.

Not sure how I overlooked these folks since I have bought so many PDF tools, but I finally found the PDF-Xchange family of products. Of course there's a free viewer, PDF-XChange Viewer.

What I like
Fast startup time
FAST SCROLL THROUGH THESE IMAGE BASED PDFs --- the images repaint super-quickly. THE number 1 reason for my switch
The search results are shown nicely and quickly
Their family of tools fit together nicely
The price of the writer product is quite reasonable and is not just a PDF print driver but an actual program
You can reach the support staff! You don't even have to buy any products to get ahold of a support person
It's really snappy fast.
They make thumbnails for documents in explorer
...... many more good things to say about it
