Not sure what I bought?

Scored an interesting Gruen today. It looks like it is from the mid 1920's, but I have not been able to positively ID it. Couldn't even find it in Mike's new book ;) I haven't received it yet so I have not been able to have a closer look at the movement.

but what I know is that it is a 15 jewel Guild caliber. It has a solid silver hinged case.

The movement looks like a cal 130 to me. That puts it at around 1919.

Sorry I was a little light on the 1919 year (hey couldn't do everything in one shot in Vol 1 or nothing would have been available to you folks for years  )

It may be in a catalog; haven't checked yet nor have I gone though the material I've got for Vol 2.

For now, I'll leave you with this detail on the 130 to see if you think it's a match and thus get you closer to a more specific year.

Thanks that will do as a first step! When I get the watch I will compare it to the parts list and confirm if it is cal. 130

After receiving the watch the movement turned out to be a cal. 127 and not the 130 as Mike thought (your guess was close enough though :D ) Any information on this movement available other than the first date of production?
